Earn NCCAOM/State of Florida Acupuncture License credit/seminars/CEU approved PDA continuing education credits!  Classes are held every month first Sunday from 9:00am to 5:30pm with an hour break for lunch.  Earn 8 PDA credits per class for only $200.00 per class.  Classes are taught by Dr. Yoseph Feleke MD, DOM, Dipl., Lic.Ac.  Dr. Feleke’s office, where the classes are held, is conveniently located at 6840 sw 40st suite 209-B Miami, FL 33155  There is plenty of  parking .

Dr. Yoseph D. Feleke MD, DOM, Dipl., Lic.Ac

Dr. Feleke received his medical degree from Shanghai Medical University.  Dr. Feleke also holds a doctorate degree in acupuncture from Shanghai TCM College, China.  His master’s degree in Oriental medicine is from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine, Racine, Wisconsin.

 

Dr. Feleke has over 15 years of clinical experience as a practicing medical doctor and acupuncturist.  Currently he owns and operates a medical clinic in the north side of Chicago.  He also holds a position as a professor and clinic supervisor at Midwest College of Oriental Medicine, Chicago, Illinois.

Infertility is one of the fastest growing areas of practice in the United States, the treatment of infertility with Chinese medicine is as effective as it is rewarding. Couples are seeking out alternative forms of fertility treatment or in conjunction with assisted reproduction technology (ART) or in vitro fertilization (IVF).

Dr. Wu will cover topics include etiology, both eastern and western view, TCM syndrome differentiation, pattern identification, and a systematic approach to treatment protocols using acupuncture, herbal formulas and diet.

This class is designed to teach a wide range of treatment strategies to beginners.

The focus of this class will cover TCM protocols for the treatment of neuromuscular and musculoskeletal pain. Dr. Wu will cover techniques and treatment strategies using acupuncture, herbal treatments, and TCM dietary.

 

TCM Ethics, Safety and Laboratory interpretation CEU 8 PDA credits

Ethical

It is inevitable that every practitioner of Oriental Medicine will encounter an ethical dilemma at some point in his or her career. In this class, Dr. Wu covers medical ethics and presents real-world applications to consider.

Safety

The information on safety issues affects the prescription of Chinese herbal medicinals. The course discusses various side effects and adverse reactions that are possible with Chinese herbal medicinals, the three major types of toxicity (nephrotoxicity, hepatotoxicity and fetotoxicity) and herb-drug interaction problems. Acupuncture points also have safety issue. Patient suffer from contaminated disease, how the practitioner to avoid the infection.

Labotory interpretation

Dr. Wu give the TCM doctor a solid knowledge base of western laboratory finds so they may communicate effectively with the patient and other health care professionals. This class reviews normal values for blood chemistry, urinalysis, hematology, and trace mineral analysis and EKG, X-ray, CT, MRI reports.

 

Oncology (breast cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, uterine cancer) CEU 8 PDA credits

Tumors or cancers thread a lot of women’s life. Surgery, Chemotherapy and Radiation bring a discomforted side effect. If right Qi predominate, evil Qi will be expel away from body.
